WesGroup Properties selected Wales McLelland to provide a Design Build package to construct this initial, “flagship” project in their new GATEWAY 200 BUSINESS PARK. Wesgroup, Wales McLelland and their team of experienced designers and subcontractors have managed to satisfy the design input of the user group (Fraser Health) and complete construction all within a short, aggressive time schedule. This 128,000 sq.ft. facility (inclusive of a 15,500 sq.ft. full service hospital pharmacy) is now complete, on schedule; much to the satisfaction of all parties.
This expansion used cast-in-place concrete to create a new Emergency and Ambulatory Care facility. This 33,000 square foot facility incorporates the newest in technology and care for Maple Ridge residents and doubles emergency room space. Our work included the creation of additional parking as well as the expansion and upgrade of the emergency power generation systems for the entire hospital. This was all completed while the hospital was in full operation.
