This 111,000 sq.ft. building includes a warehouse, manufacturing, and a distribution centre. Other features in the facility include a prominent reception area, spacious offices, a warehouse with 28’ clear ceilings and 21 loading bays.
Specialty features include self-contained explosion-proof paint booths, nitrogen cooling system, trade waste containment and treatment, emergency generator, overhead cranes, a self-contained carpentry shop, and a quality control laboratory. In addition to these features, a unique fresh air system was installed to pump fresh air into the building for the approximately 500 employees who work there.
Porte Realty continues their new building program by adding a third industrial building to their portfolio in Campbell Heights. Building C is an undivided base building to be fitted for a future multi-tenant warehouse and office building with allowance for future mezzanines. It adds 19,000 sq.ft to the Campbell Heights Business Center which now totals 104,000 sq.ft. The concrete tilt-up building has a clear ceiling height of 26'6" in the warehouse. Features include storefront glazing and insulated overhead doors for nine loading bays.
Wales McLelland built this enclosure for a new equipment tower for Layfield Plastics, a manufacturer of plastic packaging, construction materials, and environmental systems. Our work included both the steel tower structure within the building as well as the building itself. All work was completed within a tight yard area which needed to continue to function during construction.
Cast-in-place foundation, walls and walk panels for new addition to existing building. Construction of concrete pad for new printing press and associated equipment. Roof structure is steel joists, beams/columns and ballasted EPDM roofing membrane. Scope of work included cutting an opening into the existing building for access to addition and construction of chemical storage room.
Wales McLelland designed this unique 2-building office, showroom, warehouse, and lab facility with concrete tilt-up. Included were large skylights and a rooftop garden over top the showroom.
Bomar Investments contracted WM to construct this purpose built facility specifically to sell to the Tulsa Winch Group who manufacture various industry-specific gearing and electronic components for energy, infrastructure, and recovery markets worldwide.
This new tilt-up concrete facility is comprised of a 90,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility and 21,000 sq.ft. of office space including a 10,000 sq.ft mezzanine. The manufacturing facility has a dedicated fabrication shop, shipping and receiving offices and a 62' high concrete tilt-up test tower for equipment tolerances.
Wales McLelland constructed this built-to-suit warehouse, office, and production facility in the Burnaby Business Park for their operations plus additional lease space. This facility located on the shore of the Fraser River provided Weatherhaven with a new state-of-the-art facility for their highly successful shelter manufacturing business.
