Multi-Level Office Tenant Improvement

Wales McLelland was chosen as the construction management service team for the renovation of Fluor Canada’s new office at The Stack, a LEED Platinum post-tension slab building in Downtown Vancouver. Fluor, headquartered in Irving, Texas, provides engineering, procurement, and construction services to clients around the world. In 2022, the company was ranked 259 among the Fortune 500 companies.

A Full-Scale Renovation

The project required approximately 89,200 sq. ft. of new corporate office space renovations to levels 7, 8, 9, and 10. The scope included the construction of new offices, meeting rooms, collaborative workspaces, lunch rooms, hoteling stations, and open office areas. Work includes metal framing and drywall, rework and new ceiling systems, painting, flooring, glass, glazing, security systems, millwork, specialty finishes, HVAC, fire protection, and electrical works. Despite the project’s significant scale, spanning five expansive floor plates, the project was completed within six months, meeting the client’s critical and fixed relocation dates and overall schedule.
