Something New from Something Old

In addition to a new design and fit-out of their existing building, Sysco/FreshPoint also required the latest upgrades to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and ESFR fire systems. At the end of the project, the total renovated area featured a refreshed single-storey 12,889 sq. ft. office space and 50,137 sq. ft. of manufacturing and storage facilities—as well as a 6,868 sq. ft. mezzanine.

Renovations with Room for Specialization

As an established name in the food industry, this project for Sysco/FreshPoint required unique solutions that only Wales McLelland could deliver. Along with general building upgrades, the project scope also included a new plant area with 24 ft. of clear heights and the conversion of two loading docks into cold docks with vertical levellers. The completed facility houses rooms for refrigerated packaging, onion processing, as well as french fry prep and packaging.
